Nail Art Step by Step: Summer Yin and Yang nails

Recreate these dreamy colour combination Yin and Yang nails by Salon System nail expert Jaz Moger using her step by step. Here Jan uses gel polish products from Gellux's Ready to Rock collection.

Step One
File the nails to shape, push the cuticles back with the Gellux Cuticle Handy Manicure Tool and gently buff the nail plate with a white block.

Thoroughly wipe nails with Gellux Nail + File Cleansing Spray and a lint free pad.

When the nails are dry, apply Gellux Fast Bond and let dry for 30 seconds.

Then apply one very thin layer of the Gellux Builder Gel in Light Pink, curing for 60 seconds between each coat.

Step Two
I like to get all of the plain nails done and cured and then I can focus on the nail art nail. Paint two to three coats of Gellux Wild Style on the little finger and two to three coats of Gellux It's An Attitude on the index and middle finger, curing between each layer.

Paint one coat of yellow on the ring finger and cure.

Step Three
Using a fine liner nail art brush and Gellux Wild Style, paint a wiggly line down the middle of the nail.

Step Four
Fill in the right side of the wiggly line with Gellux Wild Style and cure for 30 seconds.

Step Five
Fill in the other side with Gellux It's An Attitude and cure for 30 seconds.

Step Six
Using a dotting tool, do the two dots on either side of the colour and cure for 30 seconds.

Step Seven
Finally, apply Gellux Clear Base & Top Coat and cure again.

Wipe nails with Gellux Prep + Wipe and Gellux Nail & Cuticle Oil to finish your Yin Yang nails.
