Seaweed skincare brand achieves B Corp certification
The sustainability credentials of Sligo-based Voya have been recognised with the company successfully becoming a Certified B Corporation®.
Co-founded in 2006 by husband-and-wife team Mark and Kira Guckian Walton, Voya offers seaweed skincare products and treatments, inspired by the tradition of seaweed bathing.
B Corp certification is regarded as the world's leading sustainability and social impact accreditation, verified by non-profit network B Lab.
Voya successfully passed the rigorous Impact Assessment at its first attempt, not only recognising the brand's environmental stewardship but also its wider commitment to employees, community and ethical growth.
