Make-up heads online in new Digital Takeover competition

An exciting new competition is launching as part of the Irish National Make Up Competition hosted by AIT and Irish Beauty. The Digital Takeover is a TikTok/Reel Challenge that enables Professional and Student MUAs from across the world to showcase their creations online.

The Irish National Makeup Competition is part of this year's Professional Beauty & Hair Ireland in partnership with Irish Beauty at the RDS Dublin. 

There are two themes in the Digital Takeover competition to choose from:

Entrants will take the judges, and online communities, on a journey from the start to the finished look with the use of transitions. Your make-up look should be created on yourself, your video must include music. 

Entries should be posted to either TikTok or Instagram on Thursday 18th May at 7pm (BST) using the hashtag #IrishBeautyDigitalTakeover. You must then also submit a high resolution digital file featuring your finished look via email on the same day.

Winners will be chosen by public vote and there will also be a Judges Choice award. You may only submit one entry and the winner will be announced on Monday 29th May.
