Irish skin care brand enters fragrance sector
Natural skin care brand Green Angel is launching its first fragrance.
Blended and bottled in-house in the Green Angel factory in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, the perfume – Loana – is named after the brand founders' daughter Loana Mitchell, who was born in Vietnam and now lives in Ireland.
The name Loana means ‘light' and the new scent offers a blend of energy, balance and strength. It balances rich oriental and woody base notes, uplifting floral top notes and woody oud to ground plus fresh vanilla heart notes that lighten and unify.
Mary and Chris Mitchell founded Green Angel in 2006. Commenting on the launch of the new fragrance, Mary says:
“From our award-winning holistic skincare, haircare, body care and Green Angel's most recently added home fragrances, this extension into a high-quality perfume, ‘Loana by Green Angel, is a natural progression for the beauty business and is the most personal creation we have produced so far.”
Loana Mitchell adds:
“It is such an honour for me to have a perfume with my name on it. Green Angel has been part of my life since I was little and it's amazing to see how far the brand has come. The perfume is about celebrating identity and confidence, and I hope people feel that when they wear it. I feel like it's a little piece of me in a bottle.”
