Triple eco award win for compostable towelling brand

Anne Butterly, Easydry CEO is presented with the award for Sustainable Energy Achievement in Water Usage at the Business Energy Achievement Awards 2025.

Easydry had its sustainability credentials recognised recently, being presented with three awards in a month.

The Dundalk-based brand was founded by Anne Butterly in 2003 as the world's first 100% compostable salon towel.

The company has been awarded the Sustainable Energy Achievement in Water Usage at the Business Energy Achievement Awards 2025, Sustainable Trade Exporter of the Year at the Irish Exporters Association's Export Industry Awards 2025 and the Green Transformation Award – Small Organisation at the 2025 Green Transformation Awards.

The accolades follow the firm's recertification as a B Corporation earlier this year.

Offering a more sustainable alternative to using cotton towel and gowns in the salon, Easydry's patented 100% compostable products are manufactured from natural fibres, fully breaking down within 12 weeks.

Commenting on the achievements, Anne Butterly, CEO and Founder of Easydry, says:

“We're incredibly proud to have received both of these awards within one week. They highlight what Easydry stands for – combining genuine sustainability with strong business performance. From helping salons reduce water and energy use to building a responsible global brand, we're proving that doing good for the planet is also good for business.”
