Miss Universe Ireland dedicates year to mental health

Nadia Sayers, who was named Miss Universe Ireland 2020 in December, is rolling out a digital show, Tea Time with Nadia, to help support young people's mental health.

Airing once a week on the Miss Universe Ireland social platforms, each episode will feature different comic book characters designed by 9–11-year-olds representing a different emotion that the episode will discuss. The show will feature fun learning activities and teach children real coping skills on a variety of topics.

Miss Universe Ireland 2020, Nadia Sayers, is a supporter of mental health and suicide prevention charity, PIPS.
As an expert in the Life Coaching and mental health fields, Belfast-based Nadia is a Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Director for Hope 4 Life NI, where she develops strategies, workshops and activities teaching children how to manage their emotions and mind their mental health.
Throughout her year as Miss Universe Ireland, serving as a goodwill Ambassador for the country, Nadia will dedicate her time to helping people, in particular children, to learn to live healthier lives by teaching coping skills and how manage mental health, an essential focus during the pandemic.
